A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Yesterday or so it seems there was a green glimmer on the branches signaling the coming of spring. Then with what seemed like the blink of an eye, the woods were aglow with the vibrant colors of fall. Taking time for reflection, it’s evident we cannot complain. The weather was great this summer for our pool and lake lovers. As neighbors we enjoyed the camaraderie of sharing great food and conversation while music inspired dancing among the folks. The cotton candy machine made quite a hit among both young and old. We cannot thank those people enough who make these good times possible. I would be remiss if I did not single out Mike Accetta who along with Bill Frobose built the great Barb-B-Q pit on the beach. Bill’s personally built pig roaster afforded us the opportunity to enjoy delectable pork accompanied by down home fun. It has been a good year with many undertakings by our board. You will learn more about these in the committee reports that follow. The holiday season will be fast approaching so at this time I would like to extend to you and your families a safe happy holiday season, most especially a healthy holiday and 2011.
