The Pool Meeting

Some people would call it informational, some would call it an opportunity to be ignored, and some would call it pointless.

The turnout was excellent, and the majority present seemed to be against the pool.  Many of the arguments in favor of the pool had to do with quality of life and property values.  Many of the arguments against the pool had to do with keeping the community overhead low and dues down.

The vast majority came to share information,  some came to gripe about other issues.

Bottom line:
If you want the PMWF to get a new pool, vote for it in the coming election.  If you don't want the PMWF to get a pool, the vote against it.

A new pool, that meets our community needs, cost about $250,000.  We would like to finance all or most of it over 5 years.

The pool has nothing to do with the roads.  Choosing to build the pool, or for that matter not build the pool does not increase the budget for the roads, or the actual spending for that matter.

Pool Update:
The pool will be on the May 08 ballot.
More the 10% of the community assets are used for collateral for the pool financing, therefore, it must be approved by the community.  If it is not approved, we will not build the pool.  We will ask again next year.
Having a pool, and quality facilities and roads are in the best interest of all the community property owners.

Recreation

We wish to give all of PMWF a big thank you for all your support in making our parties a great success.  Your support has made it possible for us to  purchase the large screen and projector.  This will enable us to plan “kids” activities for all the community to enjoy.

The community is looking for volunteers to organize different events.  These  events can be held on a Friday night or Saturday night providing that  the clubhouse isn't rented.  These events can be for children, adults or both. If you have any suggestions or ideas please contact Debra McBride @ 686-2035 or clubhouse @ 686-2989 or e-mail pmwf@ptd.net.
